Debbie Mitchell |
No mixed Southern Gospel Trio would be complete without
a versatile soprano, and MERCY ROAD has one of the finest by today's industry standards.
Debbie began singing at an early age, and the late 80's found her traveling with
her future husband in his popular singing group, "The Mitchells". His name is David,
and sings baritone for MERCY ROAD. They currently reside in Powder Springs, GA with
their two Pomeranians, Simba & Kovu.
The Mitchells attend Central Baptist Church in Marietta, GA where Debbie is a featured
soloist with the Church Choir but will more than likely be changing churches in
the near future as Debbie and David are building a new home in Dallas, GA. Professionally, she is the Business Manager for a
pediatrician in Marietta, GA. She has three adult children, Tara, Brandon and Tina,
and three precious grandbabies. Debbie's desire is to share her
love of Jesus with the world through the wonderful gift of His music. |

Arlene Sizemore |
Having a burning passion to lead congregations to an
atmosphere of true worship and praise, Arlene Sizemore is thrilled to once again
be back fulfilling the calling upon her life to do just that. Since she was just
a small child, she has thrilled audiences everywhere with her strong, captivating
alto voice and heartfelt presentation.
Arlene is married to MERCY ROAD'S keyboardist, Terry Sizemore. They live in Rockmart,
GA near her daughter and son-in-law, Sondi & Jon Justice, who have two sons,
Mason & Jesse. Needless to say, Arlene enjoys being a grandmother! She is also
a certified hair stylist.
Her many years of vocal and performance training has helped mold the tight blend
that the group enjoys today. However, Arlene quickly admits that without the touch
of the Holy Spirit, all of these efforts would be in vain, and humbly credits God
for the gifts and talents that each member of the group posess. |

David Mitchell |
A true quartet man at heart, David Mitchell has been
singing for His Lord most of his life. He managed his own group, "The Shoutin' Sounds"
during the late 70's and by the mid 80's it had evolved into a very popular family
act simply known as "The Mitchells". When his sister decided it was time to leave
the road, David began his search for a replacement. Thanks to the recommendation
of mutual friend Tony Peace, David not only found a singer, but also his future
bride! His wife, Debbie is the soprano singer for MERCY ROAD.
A gifted songwriter and musician, David also plays bass guitar at their home church.
When not filling the baritone and emcee position with the group, he works for a
successful RV accessories distributor in Atlanta. David has a teenage son, Jonathon
who shares his Dad's love for music, golf and video games. With a wonderful family,
a supportive church and a host of friends, David Mitchell is indeed one very blessed
man. |

Terry Sizemore |
Providing the musical accompaniment for the group is
Arlene's husband Terry Sizemore who, although
he plays several different instruments, will primarily play the keyboard. This guy is a veteran to the Southern Gospel music scene having traveled the last 20+
years with several different groups. He is currently
busy working with Mike Bailey in the studio producing the music tracks for the group's new
CD recording due out in late spring. |
